“Bag, saw the guy, looked right at me” Those 8 words cracked the biggest terrorism case since 9/11. Jeff Bauman wrote “Bag, saw the guy, looked right at me” for his brother Chris and police when he was able to, picking the photo of the men out from the Pinterest of Social Media that flooded in to police.

Man wearing a cap, sunglasses and a black jacket over a hooded sweatshirt. Jeff said the man, described by his father as an angel looked him in the eyes then dropped a bag at his feet. Minutes later, ashen, legless Bauman was the photo that became the headline reality of horror of terrorism being wheeld in a chair by the man in the cowboy hat.

Bauman was at the finish line waiting for his girlfriend to come in . Now, what are coming in are Medical Bills. Baumans friends have set up a website to fundraise for him BUCKS FOR BAUMAN. The goal is to reach a million dollars. In a culture where millions flood in within minutes for Tsunamis in Thailand, $375,000 has been reached. There are questions to caution as this noble effort starts. Does Bauman have health insurance? What other insurances does he have? Yes, “Every dollar counts!!” but count every dollar. Sadly, the man whose words helped crack open the biggest terrorism case in the US since the 9/11 atrocity and confirmed the suspicions of FBI agents searching videos from the scene will become conversation in the debate over Obamacare.

Question- when there is a debt of gratitude, should costs be counted.
