A PEARL HARBOR SURVIVOR REMEMBERED:

18 Dec

The White House notice was textbook. The system is set up to run no matter who sits in the Oval. Its not as if a sitting president can ignore the Generation of FOR GOD AND COUNTRY. Congress by Public Law 103-308 amended designated December 7 as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

If the Presidents staff dug and read a bit more they would know to honor a survive who remember the dead. The reported number of the 2400 dead remaining unnamed haunted Ray Emory. He took up the challenge to remember their names succeeding in naming more than 300 gravestones with the names of their dead if need be going forensic on their skeletons to give them afterlife on earth.

The National Park Service took note of Ray Emorys determination. They remember Ray this day. He made enemies into friends. National Park Service Daniel Martinez was quoted by AP saying he personally suffered criticism by Ray… that in the long run was all for the better.

So,on this day when “NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim December 7, 2012, as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. I encourage all Americans to observe this solemn day of remembrance and to honor our military, past and present, with appropriate ceremonies and activities. I urge all Federal agencies and interested organizations, groups, and individuals to fly the flag of the United States at half-staff this December 7 in honor of those American patriots who died as a result of their service at Pearl Harbor.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this

sixth day of December, in the year of our Lord two thousand twelve, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-seventh” remember that given a national chance to honor one he failed to honor them all

Our countrys moment in silence
