The US House voted on the House measure introduced by Congressman Dan Lungren (R-CA) and Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) to authorize the statue of SE DC abolitionist leader Frederick Douglass currently on display at the DC Government building at One Judiciary Square will be moved to the US Capitols Emancipation Hall to stand alongside statues from other states. States contribute statues of local heroes to display on a rotating basis in the Capitol   [ ]
