The 1955 Oscar winner died Sunday. While media focused on four marriages, his is survived by children & his wife 35 year love Norwegian born QVC beauty product queen Tovah Traenessas. Borgnines memorable line to his movie mother in MARTY the film Ernest won best-actor Oscar 4 playing a lovesick butcher in 1955 is “Sooner or later, there comes a point in a man’s life when he’s gotta face some facts and one fact I gotta face is that, whatever it is that women like, I ain’t got it. I chased after enough girls in my life. I-I went to enough dances. I got hurt enough. I don’t wanna get hurt no more.”  Borgnines affinity for Navy was cemented w his personal knowledge of serving during WWII. Borgnine signed up soon after seeing a Navy recruitment poster.
